In finance in the Dutch Caribbean expert legal advice is key. The Dutch Caribbean consists of different financial markets with each their own laws and regulations. Financial institutions are increasingly faced with supervision by various regulators and a high degree of regulation.
Our Banking & Finance team is the largest and strongest in the Dutch Caribbean advising both local and international clients. Our team is able to undertake work across a wide array of financial regulatory advice in relation to credit institutions, investment funds, asset managers, brokers, insurers and pension funds and is able to handle the full spectrum of financing projects, including lending, project financing, fund structuring, securitizations and capital markets with the proper sense of urgency.
Our team has access to the required knowledge and expertise in areas such as energy, real estate and hospitality & leisure, which is a requisite when doing business on the Dutch Caribbean Islands, which each have their own laws and regulations.
