Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP) has vindicated in the appeal that the company instituted against eleven car rental companies. CAP took this step in order to secure that only car rentals that were granted a concession by CAP earlier, will have unlimited access to Hato Airport in Curaçao in order to bring and pick up clients to and from the airport. CAP was represented by attorney Rogier van den Heuvel of VANEPS.
The eleven car rentals against whom the appeal was instituted, were given six weeks time to adjust their services and communications. After this period of time, a penalty of ANG 2.500 per violation will be imposed (with a maximum of ANG 250.000). It should be noted however that CAP is willing to grant access to these car rentals to the airport for their services under certain conditions.
